Adoptables

Everything we teach the mules they get a letter grade for, from an F to an A. Each letter grade has specific criteria. Once a mule is routinely getting at least a B grade in all their areas of training, we consider them to be adoptable.

If you are interested in adopting, review our adoption policy then complete our adoption application.

An adoption application must be completed and approved before we move on to the next steps. Please be prepared to pay a non-refundable $20 processing fee along with your adoption application.

TRANSPORT is available seasonally from our 2 locations in San Angelo, Texas and Concord, Virginia. Pickup from either location is available.

In addition to the adoption fee, $25.00 is due for a health certificate and rabies vaccine. Both are mandatory for out of state adoptions.

XENA - PENDING ADOPTION

Behavior - B Stands tied - A Front feet - A Back feet - B Leads - B

is a 6 year old 34-38" Molly mule. Xena is an amazing mule, but she is not for the faint of heart! Although Xena can be very sweet, her personality is mostly busy. Xena needs to be handled on an almost daily basis for her behavior to excel. Xena WANTS to be with people! She would make an excellent hiking or walking partner. Xena is practically bombproof - she stands quietly for electric clippers, and she can pony behind a 4-wheeler! Xena needs an equine-experienced home that will make sure she has a good diet and plenty of exercise to keep her healthy. Click here to send us an application for Xena ($20 processing fee due upon submission).
